Going Solar

Our homes latest improvement project was having our electrical service upgraded (panel change out ect.).  For awhile now we have been considering adding solar to our power mix and since we were already having some major electrical work being done we figured to go ahead and add a couple of solar panels as a basis for a starter system.  This was a great deal with the incentive programs available by adding alternative power to our home.

As you take a look at the project photo's you'll see that our starter system consists of two solar panels, that are each connected to Enphase Micro inverters.  Using this type of system, we can expand by adding solar panels and inverters up to a maximum of 16 before we will need to have the electricians come back out and add another circuit.
